How Software and Service Providers Use GovStack
Software and service providers use GovStack’s offerings to enhance market visibility and increase trust into their product or organisation. They transparently present their offered software or display their experience in delivering GovStack-related services. In addition, they may use the technical specification and the methodology if the Implementation Playbook to improve their software product or their service-delivery.
GovStack encourages collaboration between international and national for-/non-profit organisations creating a sustainable and mutually beneficial cooperation.
In the following, the value of GovStack’s offerings is displayed using these opportunities:
- Proof software conformance or service-delivery experience
- Shape and contribute to technical specifications
- Demonstrate software usage in a public service example
Proof software conformance or service-delivery experience
For software providers, the GovStack marketplace offers a conformance testing app to publicly show the degree of conformance to functional requirements (and soon API interfaces). Once a threshold has been passed, the software solutions are listed on the marketplace page.
For service providers (freelancers and companies), the GovStack marketplace offers the possibility to get listed after proofing experience with GovStack through contributions to the offerings or implementation projects.
Shape and contribute to technical specifications
As a community-based initiative, GovStack welcomes contributors from governments, private sector, non-governmental organisations and all others. Software and service providers are essential to the writing of technical specifications to bring in their software domain and implementation expertise.
Demonstrate software usage in a public service example
Software providers may participate in GovStack’s demonstration environment of public services and its infrastructure (to add an exemplary service to the environment, please read the following requirements and instructions ##insert link##).
